Doing Evil to Create Good

Can good come out of evil?

Some people insist that good can be accomplished through evil acts. There is an inherent flaw in this idea, which is that, if evil acts are carried out, the evil is certain, the good merely speculative.

The risk from evil is always that it will beget more evil, and usually the best that you can hope for is that the evil or the source of the evil will go away.

Evil must be well crafted indeed to beget good.
