DeSmogBlog has recently released a number of documents showing the strategic promotion of climate disinformation by the ultra-right-wing Heartland Institute. There is evidence that the Institute is wrongfully using its tax-free status for political lobbying, meaning that it may be in violation of the law as well as in violation of all reasonable standards of ethical behaviour for its climate denial project.

Not that I agree what is going on at the Heartlad Institute, it’s an accepted practice. Our politicians practice this on a regular basis, if you had documentation that their studies were skewed and that this is actually Globalwarming then I would pay attention. But, it seems that Alarmists are continually stating the sky is falling when in actuality it’s just the natural progression of the Earth. The Earth had at least five Ice Age’s since it’s birth and outside of these Ice Ages the Earth was ICE FREE even at the highest altitudes. Was that considered Globalwarming billions of years ago? It is documented from top scientists (some of the smartest people in the world) from around the world have continually debunked the Globalwarming theory and they get ignored or ridiculed. Yet, people like Al Gore gets a Nobel Peace Prize for Globalwarming?

The Ice Ages are well-accounted for in the science. We understand what was happening there and it is unrelated to what is happening here. In fact, there is no one line of evidence upon which the present conclusions of climate science is based, but multiple lines, all reinforcing each other. Thus the conclusions of the IPCC and others are robust and broadly tested. 97% of climate scientists say the same thing and the other three percent don’t even agree with each other–those that haven’t been bought with oil money in the same way that the Heartland Institute buys them. The fact that you and many of the public think that climate change science is a controversy merely speaks to the success of the enemies of science, of which the Heartland Institute is a charter member.

Well I guess it is ok for you for politicians, corporations and institutions to commit global human, mental and physical, spiritual, economic and environmental accounting fraud. Who convinced you that was acceptable conduct gangster capitalists.
Can you tell us how many citizens gangster capitalist have killed with their business models of slavery, colonialism, tobacco, asbestos and now sugar salt and fat contaminated foods?
The present unethical, economic model has fooled millions that pumping giggatonnes of CO2, an unnatural occurrence during the history of our planet is ecologically, economical and ethically sustainable. Is a scam Nikki. Al Gore did not invent the laws of physics.

Lying and propaganda is an accepted practice? Maybe among climate change deniers. Science has higher standards. That’s why when every major scientific organization on the planet says one thing and right-wing politicians say another thing, I believe the scientists.
Heck, if Bozo the clown said one thing and right-wing politicians said another thing, I’d have to reconsider Bozo.
